TDP earthquake isolators do not have a lifespan. Steel, stainless steel and Teflon-containing materials are used in TDP devices. In this way, it is maintenance-free and has a much longer life than reinforced concrete structures. The service life of TDP earthquake isolators is at least 100 years.
