IU Building of Surgical Sciences

The Istanbul University Surgical Sciences Building will be located on the Çapa Campus of the Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. The structure, which features a reinforced concrete load-bearing system, was designed as a seismically isolated system, and the superstructure is isolated from seismic effects at the foundation level using seismic isolators. The seismic isolators for the structure were designed, manufactured, and installed on-site by TİS Teknolojik İzolatör Sistemleri A.Ş.
