İÜ Surgical Sciences Building 2

The Istanbul University Surgical Sciences-2 Building will be located on the Çapa Campus of the Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. The structure, which features a reinforced concrete load-bearing system, was designed as a seismically isolated system; the superstructure is isolated from seismic effects at the foundation level using seismic isolators. TİS Teknolojik İzolatör Sistemleri A.Ş. was responsible for the design, production, and installation of the seismic isolators that constitute the project’s seismic isolation system.
