Kars 500 Bed State Hospital

The Kars 500-Bed State Hospital is a 500-bed state hospital that will serve the city of Kars. The structure, which features a reinforced concrete load-bearing system, was designed as a seismically isolated system; the superstructure is isolated from seismic effects at the foundation level using seismic isolators. TIS Technological Isolator Systems Inc. designed, manufactured, and installed the building’s seismic isolators on-site.
