TIS Earthquake Technologies
Rize City Hospital is an 800-bed state hospital that will serve the city of Rize, Türkiye. The building has a reinforced concrete structural system and is designed with seismic isolation. The superstructure is isolated from earthquake effects at the foundation level using seismic isolators.
The seismic isolators were designed, manufactured, and installed on site by TİS Technological Isolator Systems Inc. Information about the project and the seismic isolation system is provided in the table below.
